Community, Youth & Family Prevention Initiative

The Community, Youth & Family Prevention Initiative (CYFPI), a program of Tajuddin Renewal Project, works to prevent alcohol, substance use, and problem gambling before they begin. The program is created in full compliance with the International Gambling Counselors Certification Board (IGCCB), ensuring professional standards in gambling prevention.

CYFPI engages youth, families, and communities by providing education, resources, and support to build safe, healthy, and resilient environments. Through empowerment, connection, and knowledge, the program reduces risk factors, strengthens protective factors, and breaks cycles of addiction—including gambling—through community-driven solutions.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Youth Empowerment & Prevention

• School-based and after-school workshops on healthy choices, leadership, and decision-making.

Problem Gambling Prevention & Support

• Education on the risks of gambling and how it impacts individuals, families, and communities.
• Early intervention workshops for youth and adults at risk of gambling addiction.
• Peer support and referral services for individuals and families seeking help.
• Awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and encourage healthy recreational choices.
